If you're requesting an investigation for the first time, chances are you're not entirely familiar with how we go about involving ourselves with your case.  That's what this area is for.  Here's a brief outline on the steps we take to ensure a quality SURGE Paranormal Group investigation experience for you, and for us.

 
1. Client fills out an application form titled "Request an Investigation".  (We email or mail it to you.)
           A. Please be as detailed as possible with all of your responses.

2. When we receive form, we would do an informal review of the form.

3. A senior SURGE Paranormal Group Investigator will contact the client at soonest opportunity.
           A. This contact will normally take place via a phone call or email, so write your phone number or email if you feel comfortable.

4. A brief preliminary interview will take place, and we'll take notes on basic information about your case. 
           A. Lead Investigator will contact client to do a pre-interview in person.
           B. Lead Investigator will want to know if you consider your case to be "an emergency", at this time.
           C. The interview will be recorded by audio and video.

5. SURGE Paranormal Group will discuss client responses to the "Request an Investigation" form and determine if an in-person meeting is in order.
           A. SURGE Paranormal Group will discuss your case at our next meeting and determine what steps to take from here.
           B. Some available options are; accept the case, refer the case, or decline the case.

6. The next step for our clients is to fill out the forms, "Permission to Investigate".
           A. Present the client with legal and liability waivers. 
           B. SURGE PG cannot proceed with an investigation unless all forms are signed & witnessed.

7. Tour the location, inside and out with permission with video equipment and cameras. We might leave camera recording equipment over night.

8. Investigation Team will take pictures and video of the location for team discussion about equipment placement, etc…

9. There might be further interview residents/occupants of the location by elaborating on responses of previous questionnaires.

10. Discuss the 3 best dates/times to coordinate investigations with the SURGE Paranormal Group investigation teams.

11. SURGE PG will contact the client at our earliest opportunity to coordinate an official investigation date.

12. Conduct field investigation on dates that investigation teams and client agree on.

13. Look over film, audio, notes, debunk experiments, and research/history of location. Have other paranormal groups give an second opinion.  

14. Last SURGE Paranormal Group will present the evidence or findings to clients.
