Pre-Investigation Findings:
May

The apartment is located in the city of Downey and it was built in 1940. It’s a single room apartment with a kitchen, living room and restroom.
A mother and little child live alone
in an apartment. The mother contacted us because they have been experience
unexplained activity in their home. The
mother has experienced unexplained pain in her chest when in the living room to
the point that she had to cry for help.
The child reported seen an old woman in the restroom that was very nice.
There have been guest that have experienced cold spots in the living room and
seen shadows moving from living room to bedroom.
The mothers never believed in ghost
or spirits, but started to have a change of mind due to the unexplained
activities. She is very religious when and really does not talking about ghost.
We had a pre-investigation of an
apartment where the occupants were experiencing unexplained activity. The
occupants were experiencing, the sense of being watched, unexplained pain, cold
spots and shadows in the living room, kitchen, restroom and bedroom. The
occupants allowed us to do a pre-investigation of the house to help them find
answers.
We invite a medium to the
investigation to help us maybe answer some questions. He was not given any information about of
what type of investigation we were conducting.
The information that he relay back to was amazing. He was able to pick the locations that the mother
was claiming of paranormal activity. He felt the pain in his chest and stated
that a old women died from problems breathing. He picked up strong feelings of
anger and hate coming from the restroom. One thing that stand out from his
readings was that he felt that the sofa was left behind by the previous occupant. We document the
information that he gave us from his walk through.
We sent in team one and used all our scientific tools to conduct a scientific investigation. We used our small CCTV system, photo/video cameras, audio recorder, EMF, wind meter, sound meter, Mel-8704 and other equipment. We recorded 3 hours of audio and video with our equipment. We also interviewed the occupants regarding their experiences.
The small DVR was left to record for
two days.
In our analysis of the audio recordings we found no phenomenon in the living room. There was nothing found in our video recordings to claim paranormal (haunting), but did notice some high distortion of EMF (Electro-magnetic Field) readings. The gauss (mG) readings stayed constant through the apartment. We left electrical appliance on to measure EMF readings from them and then turned them off. The readings stayed the same and it was recorded by our Sony HD-CX7 video camera. The measurements were safe levels (the readings stayed constant between 1.0 and 2.0 mG). There were no EMF readings in the restroom.
The distortions from all rooms
regarding orbs around our security night-vision cameras were caused by drafts
coming from the open doorways and windows. There were signs of dust in the
apartment. We dismissed this; due to the fact that there was a lot of
dust and a draft in the rooms (draft was measured on wind meter).
We were not able to debunk the cold spots that were experienced in the bedroom. The team closed all the windows and doors to conduct a control environment. There were no drafts in the bedroom during cold spot experiences. Weather strips on doors and windows were in good condition and fairly new. Temperatures stayed the same a cross the apartment that was 74ºF. The cold spots were only a few degrees difference (between 2-4 degrees; nothing significant)
We did not get any EVPs in our audio recordings, but we did get an image distortion in one of the video recordings that was located in the bedroom. The unexplained distortion in the bedroom must first be debunked during our full investigation. The house is close to a major street and there are times that light from outside might have casted an image onto the wall in the bedroom. The image is an outline of a person by the restroom and closet. (Image does not look like a shadow) The team did do a small outside debunking method to cast light through windows to create shadows in the rooms. They were unsuccessful in doing so.
There were no images found on our photographs of the apartment.
Our pre-investigation findings at this time indicate that there is something there and further investigation is needed. We cannot make a statement that the apartment is haunted at this time. Further Investigation is needed to explain the activities that the occupants are experiencing. We asked the family to keep a log book to track any activity to help the case. We have been asked to come back to conduct an in depth investigation. (No audio findings) (There is a video distortion that was noticed in the bedroom)
Are full investigation did not find anything unusual from the pre-investigation but we did find out some information that might shade light to the apartment. We found out by interviewing the neighbors that the previous occupant had died in the apartment. An old woman and daughter lived together in the apartment and had arguments almost every day. We also found out that the old lady died on the sofa of heart failure. The sofa was left behind by the daughter.
We did not find anything with our scientific equipment but there are things in this world that cannot be explained with science. We are not stating the apartment is haunted but we did not find anything to give evidence to the experience that people are having at the apartment. We did due a full investigation that allowed us to send out our groups to conduct scientific paranormal experiments.
